Kannada actress Aishwarya Shindogi is making sorts of a comeback with ‘Samyukta 2’ which released this Friday and has been receiving positive response right from the first show. Directed by Abhiram, ‘Samyukta 2’ is a sequel to ‘Samyukta’ and is a horror thriller and also stars Chetan Chandra in the other lead role. Speaking to a leading daily, actress Aishwarya Shindogi opens up about how it feels like coming back in Kannada film industry and the experience of working on ‘Samyukta 2’.
“Samyuktha 2 is an edge-of-seat entertainer. Basically, the story is located on the medical campus just like Samyuktha 1 and it is a thriller-horror movie. I play a medical student in the movie and my role will be in two shades. One shade could be a bit confusing for the audience but I am sure everybody will enjoy it,” Aishwarya told Bangalore Mirror.
Aishwarya also speaks about her dream role and says, “Most of the characters that I have played have been that of a homely girl, including Simhadri and Mummy. So, for my next film, I’d prefer to do have a role that has more glamour. I will be waiting for that day. Samyuktha 2 is definitely a game changer for my journey because lots of offers are coming in now. Also, I have one movie in progress but I cannot talk more about it right now.”
Speaking about her co-stars Chetan and Neha Patil, Aishwarya says, “Chetan Chandra plays the lead role in the movie and everyone knows that he is very dedicated towards the films he works in. He is ready to do any of the roles in any moment. Then my other co-star is Neha Patil who is also a female lead for the movie. Neha has done a great job in the film. So Samyuktha 2 is a complete team effort.”
