Arya

The dashing Arya is arguably one of the most prominent stars in the Tamil industry today. He enjoys a strong fan following thanks to his raw looks, charming personality and sincere performances. Moreover, fans adore him thanks to his bindass nature and effective screen presence. Now, the star is set to add a new dimension to his career.

As has been reported before, he will soon be making his Kannada film debut with the rom-com ‘Rajaratha’. And, needless to say, he is excited about the same. During a recent chat with a daily, he said that he feels that ‘Rajaratha’ is a perfect debut for him as Anup is a terrific director and did a good job with his directorial venture ‘Rangi Taranga’. He added that he is open to working in all regional languages.

“I am always open to different markets and any language as long as the script fascinates me. That was the precise reason I picked up some interesting roles including Santhosh Sivan sir’s Urumi in M’town and Tollywood flick Varudu. I had watched Anup’s debut directorial venture Rangi Taranga, a mystery thriller and a blockbuster movie and I was very much impressed with its making. When he did the narration for Rajaratha, I felt this would be my perfect launch pad in Kannada. Also, the offer was lucrative,” added Arya.

Well, we are happy for Arya and hope that ‘Rajaratha’ does well at the box office. So, do you feel that Arya will be able to make a mark in Kannada cinema? Comments, please!
