The first look poster of 'Butterfly'.

Are you a fan of the charming and gorgeous Parul Yadav? If yes  then get ready to rejoice as we have some exciting news in store you. The popular actress recently took to Twitter and shared the first look poster of her upcoming Kannada movie ‘Butterfly’. Needless to say, the poster is quite colourful and captures the fun-filled nature of the film quite well.

Interestingly, ‘Butterfly’ is touted to be a comedy-drama and is a remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Queen’. In it, Parul plays the role essayed by Kangana Ranaut in the original. While the Bollywood film was helmed by Vikas Bahl, this remake is being directed by Ramesh Aravind.

As it so happens, Parul began shooting for ‘Butterfly’ on her birthday. Speaking about it, she told a leading agency that she was ‘overwhelmed’ by the experience.

“It’s the most overwhelming feeling that I get to start this very important film of my career on my birthday. It has been a wonderful journey so far, but I am really looking forward to this new chapter that will unfold in my life,” she added.

It must be pointed out here that ‘Queen’ is regarded as one of the most significant releases of Kangana’s career. Its success went a long way in establishing her as one of Bollywood’s one bankable stars. Let us hope that ‘Butterfly’ has a similar impact on Parul’s career.

On a related note, besides Parul, the remake features Amy Jackson in the lead. She plays the character essayed by Lisa Haydon in ‘Queen’.
