The pressure to excel and succeed will be all the higher if you are a star kind whose father has been in the industry for more than 3 decades. Manoranjan Ravichandran, son of Kannada actor V Ravichandran, is making his debut with Saheba which hit the screens this Friday. The film has been doing well and the has been receiving some rave reviews for its subtle narration.
Speaking to a leading daily, Manoranjan spoke about why she chose Saheba as his debut film and what feedback he received about the film. “Audiences are curious to know how I will be onscreen. I’ve been told that I remind them of Ravichandran from the 80s and early 90s,” said Manoranjan while talking about his resemblance to his father V Ravichandran.
Talking about Saheba Manoranjan says, “I will not make tall claims that Saheba is an extraordinary film with a different tale. It is high on emotions and has its moments. There will be unexpected twists in the story and the outcomes will not be what audiences think will happen. There are a few scenes in the film, the treatment of which will be new for Kannada audiences.”
Saheba has been getting positive reviews from critics on the opening day of release and the collections are expected to go high as the days pass by. Saheba also features Shanvi Srivastava in the female lead role.
