Actress Juhi Chawla was last seen in Kannada films in Ramesh Arvind‘s Pushpaka Vimana, which was his 100th film and directed by S. Ravindranath. The film saw Juhi Chawla make a comeback in Kannada films after more than two decades. Juhi featured in a song in Pushpaka Vimana but her presence in the film made it a sensation in the Kannada film industry. Before Pushpaka Vimana, Juhi Chawla was last seen in Kindari Jogi back in 1991.
As per recent reports, Juhi Chawla has been roped in for another Kannada film which will be written and directed by Yashwanth Sardeshpande. The film is titled Very Good 10/10 and will see Juhi Chawla portray the role of a music teacher. As per the director Yashwanth Sardeshpande, Very Good 10/10 has a very good message and wants to bring out an important aspect about children of these days through the film. Very Good 10/10 will be produced by Ramnath Kotiyan and the tunes in the film will be rendered by V Manohar.
Yashwanth Sardeshpande is an eminent writer in theater circles in Karnataka. Yashwanth was the writer who penned the dialogues for Kamal Haasan‘s Kannada film Rama Shama Bama. Yashwanth was well appreciated for using the North-Karnataka dialect for the film.
Very Good was launched officially on April 24, 2017 and shooting of the film is currently in progress. The director met Juhi Chawla recently and gave her a narration, and apparently she has given a go ahead for the film. Juhi Chawla will join the sets of Very Good soon and an official confirmation regarding this development is awaited
