The recently engaged Sandalwood actress Meghana Raj will next be seen in a film titled MMCH which is set in the backdrop of the beautiful city Mangalore. The film is said to be a crime thriller and the cast mostly includes women. Meghana Raj seems very excited about playing a Mangalorean in the film and says she feels connected to the city. “I’m not just saying this because I’m in Mangaluru now, but I feel a deep connection with this region. It has such a warm and welcoming vibe,” Meghana Raj was quoted as saying by TOI. Besindes Meghana, the cast also inlcudes Prathama Prasad, Nakshatra and Samyukta Hornad who are currently shooting in Udupi.

I’m so thrilled because this is the first time I’m getting to play a Mangalurean in one of my films. We might even incorporate some Tulu to lend authenticity to my character,” the ‘Jindaa’ actress further adds. “We were on a food trail eating ice creams and local food after which we headed to a popular mall. That’s when I noticed that Mangaluru has such a cosmopolitan culture. There are North Indians, Malayalis and such an interesting mix of locals who themselves speak so many different tongues. Many people came to me and appreciated my work,” Meghana adds further. Besides MMCH, Meghana also has couple of Malayalam films which include 100 Degree Celsius Sequel and London Dreams.
