The wedding season is here and in all its glory. The film industry is seeing its own share of weddings, and with this, another couple gets hitched. Sandalwood star Dhruva Sarja got engaged to his childhood friend Prerana Shankar on December 10. Dhruva’s elder brother and actor Chiranjeevi Sarja tied the knot earlier this year in May with actress Meghana Raj. Now six months later, Dhruva decides to take his relationship a step ahead. The engagement pictures of the couple are doing rounds on the social media and they look amazing together.

The engagement ceremony took place in a traditional way and was attended by only family members. Dhruva got a customized engagement ring for his lady love, and reportedly, it costs a whopping Rs 21 lakhs. According to a report in Times Of India, the ring is worth Rs 21 lakhs and the actor made sure that the ring comes out as per his expectations. The engagement took place outside the Lakshmi Venkateshwara temple in Bengaluru. Seen at the ceremony was actor Darshan, who is one of the most popular names in Sandalwood.

One can see in the photos, the family looks all happy as Dhruva begins with the new beginning. Recently, while talking about Dhruva Sarja’s engagement, brother Chiranjeevi revealed that the family is quite happy with Dhruva’s decision and they all are quite fond of Prerana Shankar as they know her since she was a kid.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Dhruva Sarja who enjoys a huge fan following, the actor was last seen in Bhajari which hit the screens in 2017. He will soon be seen alongside Rashmika Mandanna in an upcoming film, Pogaru.
