Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Gowda made debut in film with Jaguar in Kannada and Telugu. The film was made on a mammoth budget of INR 75 crore and had senior actors like Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Bramhanandam and Rao Ramesh play crucial roles. The story of the film was put together by the writer of Baahubali K Vijayendra Prasad. The film was launched in a swanky manner and the promotions were being done aggressively. However, the response for the film was not as expected by the makers and it bombed at the box-office. Nikhil Gowda’s career did not take off as his family had planned for him.
Going by the latest developments, the lanky actor doesn’t seem to have been affected by the response for his first film and is working hard for his next film. Reports about his next film say that Nikhil is gearing for a debut in Bollywood and tendentious director Ram Gopal Varma is launching him. Buzz in the industry is that Nikhil apparently approached RGV regarding this and expressed his interest, and RGV is said to have agreed to it. With both these men not having a great run in their career, it’s an interesting thing to witness if this is to happen.
Ram Gopal Varma is currently busy working on Sarkar 3 and pre-production works of his international film Nuclear. Reports say that he has approached international experts for Nuclear and the discussions are progressing in a positive direction.
We hope it works out this time for Nikhil.
