Actor Sudeep recently posted his video of the fitness challenge and passed on the challenge o his colleagues and friends from the Kannada film industry which included actor Yash. The young actor posted a video after accepting the challenge however Yash was trolled by fans of Sudeep. Apparently, fans of Sudeep are unhappy with Yash for not addressing their favourite actor as ‘Sir’ or ‘Avaru’ showing respect to seniors. Fans were targeting Yash for not being respectful to Sudeep and even asked Yash to tender an apology for not being respectful.

And stepping in to control the situation, Sudeep asked his fans not to troll Yash and explained that the young actor was only showering love. In a message on his Twitter page, Sudeep explained, “I request my frnz n fans not to post any harsh tweets towards Yash ,calling me by my name in the video he has posted. Accepting my fitness challenge and posting tat video was outta sheer luv n respect n I can see only that. Hope my request is respected.” This gesture by Sudeep reduced the trolling by fans and situation seemed in control.

Social media has been a place where many fans have trolled actors and celebrities for many various reasons including body shaming. Fans of one actor trolling other actors is not a new thing in South Indian film industry and has been an ongoing trend. Fan groups of top stars have many a times between at loggerheads trying to prove their fav star’s worthiness and stardom. An year ago, in an unfortunate incident, a fan of Jr NTR had stabbed a fan of Pawan Kalyan after the two had a heated argument. Jr NTR later sent out a message stating, as actors, they are always close and bonded and fans also should maintain brotherhood amongst themselves.
