Suneil Shetty to make a comeback in Kannada cinema with Kiccha Sudeep’s upcoming film

Actor Kiccha Sudeep will next be seen in an action film titled Phailwan in which he will be playing the role of a boxer and a fighter. Sudeep has been working hard on his body to get into the shape of the role of a boxer and the first look poster of Phailwan has created a huge excitement around the film. The cast of Phailwan is a heavy one with actors like Kabir Duhan Singh onboard. And the latest to join the cast is Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty who will be seen playing a pivotal role. According to reports, Suneil Shetty has been signed on for a very important role and will have many scenes with Sudeep in Phailwan. It is not clear yet the kind of role Suneil Shetty would be playing in Phailwan but has got the fans of Kannada cinema excited about the film after this development. Sudeep has been working out very hard to look like a boxer in Phailwan and the actor will begin shooting for the film in Chennai which will be the first schedule. Suneil Shetty too will be a part of this schedule, reports reveal.

Phailwan is being directed by Krishna who earlier made Hebbuli with Kiccha Sudeep. Expectations on Phailwan are rocketing high since their previous combo, Hebbuli, was a super hit and Phailwan will have the top Kannada star playing a fighter, which is for the first time.

Speaking about Phailwan, director Krishna had recently said that Sudeep has been training in phases to get used to it. “He will be doing a structured three-week-long course in parts. We felt that this will help him ease into the sport, to familiarize him with the basics of wrestling and boxing. Sudeep too felt that it would help him act as that character better,” the director said. Krishna also said that Sudeep and Jeet will leave for Thailand sometime soon and train hard in few interior places of Thailand which will give him a better environment to train.
