Shivarajkumar starrer Tagaru brought bgreat fame for actor Dhananjaya who played the antagonist in the cop action story. Dhananjaya impressed everyone with his performance as Daali in Tagaru and has also managed to grow his following in the Kannada state. Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma was impressed with Tagaru and had met Dhananjaya and actor Manvitha Harish recently, a photo of them had gone viral. And according to latest reports, Dhananjaya may have grabbed a chance to act in Ram Gopal Varma’s film soon. According to a report in TOI, Dhananjaya recently met Ram Gopal Varma in Hyderabad and the two discussed a possible subject that may be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Kannada. If this materialises, then this would one of the bigger projects in Dhananjaya’s career and he may soon become a big name in South Indian cinema circles. Dhananjaya will now work with again director Suri again in his upcoming directorial.

RGV in a series of tweets had praised Tagaru and the actors Manvitha Harish and Dhananjaya in his tweets. “Just watched the Avant-garde vision of the extraordinary director Suri’s Kannada blockbuster #Tagaru of Shiv Raj kumar  @ManvithaHarish is not just an actress but she is pure electricity in her ability to shock(but pleasently)  @Dhananjayaka redefines menace,” Ram Gopal Varma had tweeted. And looking at all the buzz, it may well be a possibility that RGV may rope in Dhananjaya as an antagonist for his upcoming film.

Shivarajkumar starrer Tagaru released more than 3 months ago and is still much talked about film in Kannada circles. With a huge opening on day 1, Tagaru received mixed response from fans of Shivanna given the kind of treatment the film had. Critics and industry insiders gave thumbs up to the film which was directed by Suri and had Shivarajkumar playing a cop.
