Sudani From Nigeria was released in March this year and went on to garner huge attention and appreciation from all around. Said to be a hard-hitting message-oriented film, Sudani From Nigeria was very well received by the audience and the actors including the Nigerian actor Samuel Robinson were well appreciated for their performances. Although the film was marred by a racial discrimination controversy, everything seems to have been settled out between the makers and the actor Samuel Abiola Robinson. The story of Sudnai fro Nigeria is about a Nigerian football player who joins a club in Malappuram, Kerala for a football match.
Besides Samuel Robinson and Soubin Shahir, Sudani from Nigeria also stars Aneesh G. Menon, Savithri Sreedharan, Sarasa Balussery, Lukman Lukku, Navas Vallikkunnu and Sidheek Kodiyathur in important roles. The film was produced by Shyju Khalid and Sameer Thahir jointly who are renowned cinematographers. Samuel Robinson underwent football training in Kerala before starting to shoot for the film. Samuel had never played football before he shot for Sudani in Nigeria early this year.
