Now, there is some good news for her fans.

In an exciting development, the actor has been roped in to star in critically-acclaimed filmmaker Blessy’s Aadujeevitham. The film is based on noted writer Benyamin’s novel of the same name and has Prithviraj in the lead. Confirming this, Amala said that the film features an amazing screenplay.

“Happy and honoured to be part of National Award winning director Blessy’s Aadujeevitham as Sainu, a pain every Malayali has felt through Benyamin’s classic novel. An amazing screenplay of the classic, which is set to be a visual spectacle in 3D! Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran who is giving the film 2 years of his life and going through hardships to set in the spirit of Najeeb, the lead protagonist,” she added.

Well, we wish her good luck and hope that Aadujeevitham turns out to be a landmark film for her.

Interestingly, another highlight of Aadujeevitham is that it marks AR Rahman’s return to Malayalam cinema, after a long time. Talking about being a part of the film, he recently said the film has a beautiful story.

On a related note, Amala was recently in the limelight for a shocking reason when she filed a complaint against a man for allegedly sexually harassing her. While talking about the incident, she had said that the man tried selling her off like a ‘meatloaf’.

At present, besides  Aadujeevitham, she also has Bhaskar Oru Rascal in her kitty. In it, she will be seen alongside actor Arvind Swami.
