Changed my body language for a mature get up in Mammootty’s Parole, says actor Iniya

Mammootty’s Parole has hit the screens today and the film has been receiving mixed response from audience all over. The story revolves around Mammootty who is the central character in the film and is in the prison due to a series of unforeseen events that happen in his life. Actor Iniya will be seen playing Mammootty’s wife in Parole and this is not the first time that the young actor is acting alongside Mammuka. “Though I acted with Mammukka in Puthan Panam, it was a character role. In Parole, I play his wife’s role,” Iniya was quoted as saying by a report in DC. Iniya will be seen playing a mature role in Parole and the actor says that she had gain weight and change her body language to look the age of the role.

She has a son and needs to be mature. I put on pounds and changed the whole body language for a mature get up. I observed people around me to grasp the body language. I chose this role as it has got good acting scope. The story is good. Also, I feel lucky to share the screen space with Mammukka,” Iniya adds.

Iniya, speaking about Mammootty, says that he is very supportive of upcoming talents and always encourages. “He is quite friendly. It is great to see persons of his stature supporting upcoming talents like me. On the sets, he would help with dialogue delivery and improvisation. During break time he would be having fun time with us. It was fun shooting for Parole,” adds Iniya.

The model-turned-actor is all praise for director of Parole Sharrat Sandith who hails from the advertising industry. “It was a great experience to work with the team. I am grateful to director Sharrath Sandith, who comes from the advertising industry, for this opportunity. He briefs the character by giving its minute details and patiently takes each shot. The team had a good working culture,” she added further.
