The Kerala High Court posted the bail plea attempt of Dileep, the fifth one, for September 26th, 2017 after the districts court rejected the bail plea for four times earlier. During the hearing, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) also told the Kerala High Court that the report in the case will be ready in three weeks. The prosecution also submitted its affidavit to the court opposing the bail plea of Dileep. The Angamaly court, too, had rejected the bail plea of Dileep earlier and said that the bail cannot be granted at this juncture of investigation.
The SIT clearly stated that they will be ready with the final report in the case in three weeks. What will be interesting to see is whether the Kerala High Court will grant bail on September 26th, 2017 or not. And if it does grant, how would that affect the final report in the Malayalam actress kidnap case and the investigation proceedings. If the High Court does not grant bail, the SIT officials will have a task cut for themselves to complete preparing the final report in the case.
Dileep was arrested by the Aluva Club police on July 10th, 2017 after police found irrefutable against the actor in the Malayalam actress assault case. The prime accused, Pulsar Suni, is said to have told the police officials that Dileep had contracted him to carry out the assault and record it on a phone, the remand report of Dileep had stated. Pulsar Suni had also said that, while being taken to the court a while ago, that many bigger people will be arrested soon and the real culprits will be caught in the case.
