Dileep starrer Kammara Sambhavam Box Office Business!

Dileep starrer Kammara Sambhavam was one of the much-awaited films of this month. The film that released on Saturday, has bagged maximum screens across Kerala. Reportedly, the film has released to around 150 screens in Kerala. The film has witnessed a good release in other parts of the country as well.

Directed by Rathish Ambat, Kammara Sambhavam was riding high on expectations and the pre-release buzz around the film was, of course, phenomenal. The hard-hitting promotions kept the film in talks for a very good time.

However, there were more three releases over the weekend but Kammara Sambhavam stayed the talking point overall. The Dileep starrer, which is a big budget movie was expected to score big at the box office. Also, as it released on Saturday, the film had a good chance to register reasonable numbers but could the film really witness good opening?

Written by Murali Gopy and directed by Rathish Ambat, the movie has got an amazing opening at the box office, courtesy pre-release hype. Kammara Sambhavam is not only receiving good reviews from critics and audience alike but is also minting numbers at the Box Office.

Kammara Sambhavam did a business of Rs 2.07 crore gross on its opening day itself in Kerala. The film also scored good marks at Kochi multiplexes as well. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 6.51 Lakhs gross and Rs 12.78 Lakhs gross on Sunday, taking the total Kochi collection to Rs 19.29 lakhs approx.

This movie marks the directorial debut of Rathish Ambat and the role of Kammaran is being played by Dileep. Dileep plays the role of a freedom fighter and interestingly, this epic drama is set against the backdrop of World War 2.

This movie also marks Sidharth’s debut into Malayalam movies. The lead female role is being played by Namitha Pramod. This story is based on fiction but is inspired by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
