Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan will soon be seen in the eagerly-awaited ‘Solo’. And, needless to say, he is quite excited about the same. During a recent chat with a leading news agency, the young star said that working on the Bejoy Nambiar directorial was a satisfying experience for him.

“The feeling of ‘we’ve accomplished so much at the end of a day’ kept us going. It was a good day’s work that gave us the kick. When you feel relaxed at the end of the day of a shoot, there’s no feeling of accomplishment. If I sleep after a tiring day of shoot, I know I’ve earned that sleep. It gives you lot of energy. ‘Solo’ gave me that feeling,” he added.

Interestingly, Solo is an anthology film and continues DQ’s trysts with unconventional movies. Explaining why he refrains from doing pure commercial films, Dulquer said that that people either like such movies or totally hate them.

“I’m more afraid to attempt an out-and-out commercial film. I feel it can either click or go all the way down. People will either like it or hate it,” said DQ.

Well, we must say that this is quite a solid answer and proves that DQ has is priorities sorted. In case you did not know, ‘Solo’ is a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual and also features Neha Sharma-Shruthi Hariharan in the lead.  It will hit screens on October 5.

So, are you looking forward to ‘Solo’? Comments, please!
