Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan’s latest big screen outing ‘Parava’ opened to a fairly decent response at the box office earlier today and received favourable reviews along the way. During a recent interaction with a leading daily, the young star reminded fans that he has a 25-minute-long cameo in ‘Parava’ and is not playing the lead. However, at the same time, he added that he is grateful to the almighty for giving him the opportunity to be part of such a film. DQ went on to add that ‘Parava’ has the potential to be a game changer.
“I know all the posters feature me quite extensively but we just want to be honest with all of the viewers in saying that I’m in the film only around 25 mins. It’s an extended cameo. But I would have done it even if it was just 5 mins because it is a terrific film and I think it will be a game changer. It’s another huge blessing that I got to be a part of this film and I thank Allah daily for every chance I’ve been given,” he added.
Well, these are some sweet words and are bound to create a buzz amongst movie buffs.
On a related note, Dulquer will next be seen in ‘Solo’. The film is touted to be a romantic-thriller and has been shot in Tamil as well as Malayalam. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, it also features Shruthi Hariharan and Neha Sharma in the lead.
