The arrest of actor Dileep by the Kerala police in connection with the Malayalam actress assault case is only leading to new and unheard stories that are being dug out by the media and Dileep’s foes. After the police found solid evidence against Dileep of his involvement in the Malayalam actress assault case, there were reports doing rounds that Dileep might also be linked to the death of actor Kalabhavan Mani who died last year under suspicious circumstances.
The case has now taken a U-turn after reports are emerging that Dileep might have received support from few government officials regarding the land on which he had built the multiplex D Cinemas. News has it that few administrators may have extended their support to Dileep in the encroachment of the land for D Cinemas and in return might have received few favours from Dileep.
These new allegations only add to the list of things that Dileep has against his name at the present moment. Dileep is currently jailed at the sub jail in Aluva and was sent to jail till July 25th by the court. The court also rejected his bail plea which was applied for by his lawyer on Saturday. This means that no districts court can grant bail to Dileep and he will have to move the high court for a bail.
Sources also say that the chances are bleak for the bail to be granted to Dileep even at the higher court. Dileep has, however, maintained that he is innocent and he is being trapped in this case.
