The lovely Hansika Motwani—who is quite a popular name in Tamil/Telugu cinema—will soon be making her Mollywood debut with the eagerly-awaited ‘Villain’. And, as expected, she is excited about adding a new dimension to her career. During a recent chat with New Indian Express, she spoke about her role in ‘Villain’ and said her character here will be quite different from the ones she has played in the past. She went on to add that working with the legendary Mohanlal was a solid experience even though she was a bit nervous initially.
“I can’t divulge more since it is a suspense thriller. For now, let’s just say that it is very performance-oriented. I have heard a lot about him but working with Lal sir was different experience altogether. I was so nervous initially and dazzled by the way he owns the scenes. But then, he is someone who gives everybody his space. After every shot, I would wait for his approval and he would give me a hi-five. Well, that was all I needed. I think I just got lucky with this project,” she added.
Well, we are happy for Hansika and hope that she impresses us with her act in ‘Villain’. All the best!
In case you did not know, ‘Villain’ is touted to be a crime-thriller and has been directed by B Unnikrishnan. Besides Hansika-Mohanlal, it also features Vishal and Manju Warrier in the lead. Vishal will be seen essaying a villainous role in what is the first Malayalam film of his career.
