Hey Jude Twitter Review: Trisha’s maiden Malayalam film is a breezy romantic-entertainer

The lovely Trisha is arguably one of the most popular and talented actresses in Southern cinema today. She enjoys a strong fan following courtesy her sincere performances, good looks and lively personality. Now, there is some awesome news for her fans. In an exciting development, her eagerly-awaited maiden Mollywood film ‘Hey Jude’ finally hit screens today amidst much fanfare. And, it seems to have created quite a buzz on the social media. Most critics/ movie buffs are of the opinion that ‘Hey Jude’ is a breezy and entertaining romantic tale that keeps the viewer engrossed. The performances too seem have gotten a thumbs up.

In case you did not know, ‘Hey Jude’ has been directed by Shyamaprasad and also features Nivin Pauly in the lead. It had generated plenty of pre-release buzz because of its engaging poster and lively trailer. It will be worth watching if the positive buzz helps the film find success at the ticket window.

Interestingly, Trisha recently said that ‘Hey Jude’ is the ideal way for her to enter Mollywood and add a new dimension to her career.

“I fell in love with Crys. She is not that typical Malayalee girl and it was a role that I’ve never done so far. Added to that I knew Nivin and have met him couple of times at award functions and we became friends. So I was excited to take up this film as a challenge. I feel blessed to be a part of Hey Jude and can confidently say that I couldn’t have asked for a better debut in Malayalam,” she told a senior journalist

Interestingly, working with Trisha was a good experience for Nivin Pauly. Sometime ago, he had said that he has been a fan of Trisha’s work right from her VTV days
