Dileep -Siddharth starrer Kammara Sambhavam is all set to release tomorrow and the Malayalam film is in the news for the wrong reason. The film has been a talk of the town since its inception. It was uncertain if one of the most expensive films produced in Malayalam will see the light of day due to due to the arrest of Dileep. However, the makers wrapped up the shooting of the film after the actor got bail.
Well, now a day ago the release, reports are doing rounds that romantic song Njano raavo irulu neendi vannu is garnering negative reactions.
It has come to notice that the song, sung by Divya S Menon and Haricharan, is strikingly similar to the song ‘Sairat Salaji’ from the hit Marathi movie Sairat.
Talking to TOI, Gopi Sunder said, “This is an accusation that I am used to now and I don’t give it undue importance. While checking out any piece of creation, if you want to, you can find similarities with another. I have been working in this industry for the past 23 years and so I am aware of all such turn of events. As you say in Malayalam, ‘Maanga Ulla Maavile Kalleriyu (It’s only the fruitful mango tree that gets pelted with stones).’ It’s when one of my songs become a hit that now people feel the need to go after anything that has a similarity to it, and come up with such comments. I look at it all positively.”
The film has a bevy of stars in the cast including Dileep, Siddharth, Shraddha Srinath, Bobby Simha, Murali Gopy, Andy von Eich, Swetha Menon, Kenny Basumatary, Siddique, Vinay Forrt and Anjali Aneesh.
The Aval actor, Siddharth, who is a popular face in the Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu film industries, will mark his debut in Mollywood with this film.
Directed by Rathish Ambat, Kammara Sambhavam will be in theaters on April 14.
