In a shocking news, popular Malayalam actor Captain Raju suffered a heart attack in flight. Yes, the actor has been hospitalized in Oman after suffering a heart attack. According to media reports, Captain Raju, 67, was on a flight to the US when he complained about the chest pain. As he complained about feeling uneasiness and chest pain, the airplane made an emergency landing in Muscat. He was immediately taken to the hospital. The doctors are currently keeping a check on his health at Kims Oman hospital

And ever since the news broke out about the actor being hospitalized, social media is abuzz with messages about him and many colleagues and friends of Captain Raju have been posting messages wishing him recovery. Captain Raju is said to be a very close associate of many actors and filmmakers in Malayalam film industry. The ex-serviceman is held in high regard within the industry and is known for being very dedicated towards his work.

Captain Raju is an actor and former military officer. He has acted in more than 500 films in various languages of Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and English. He is best noted for his performance in character roles, and as a villain. Raju also appears in television serials and advertisements.

He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam film Etha Oru Snehagatha in 1997. His second film as director was Mr. Pavanayi 99.99 (2012) in which he reprised the role of Mr. Pavanayi, his character from the 1987 Malayalam film Nadodikkattu.

Captain Raju was last seen in Ajai Vadudev’s Masterpiece, which stars Mammootty in the lead role. The film released last year and received an overwhelming response from the audience. The film also starrer Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Poonam Bajwa, Maqbool Salmaan, Gokul Suresh, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Santhosh Pandit, Anjali Nair, and Mahima Nambiar in important roles.
