Actor Sidhu Pillai, who acted alongside Dulquer Salmaan, was found dead in Goa according to leading Malayalam portal. It is also being reported that Sidhu’s mother identified his body on Monday and later handed over. The final rites of the actor will be performed in his home town Thrissur, reports reveal further. According to unconfirmed reports, the reason of death is said to be drowning in the beach however, none of the family members have confirmed this yet. More details about this are yet to be known and are expected to be revealed soon. Reports reveal that Sidhu had gone to Goa on January 12th and the mishap occurred on Sunday, however the exact cause if yet to confirmed by the family. Sidhu Pillai is the son of popular Malayalam producer PKR Pillai who has produced numerous films in Malayalam.
Sidhu starred in the Malayalam hit ‘Second Show’ the featured Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne in the lead and was directed by Srinath Rajendran. Dulquer Salmaan expressed his condolences in a post on his Twitter page and also said that he is disturbed with the demise of the young actor. “Disturbed and sad about the passing of #SidhuRPillai ! Was an excited and vivacious youngster during #SecondShow. Prayers to his family,” Dulquer Salmaan posted on his Twitter page. Condolences messages from industry fraternity and fans of Malayalam cinema are pouring in on social media.

Besides Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Wayne and Sidhu Pillai, ‘Second Show’ also starred Gauthami Nair, Rohini, Baburaj, Kunjan and Sudesh Berry in pivotal roles. The story of the film was written by Vini Vishwa Lal and directed by Srinath Rajendran. Sidhu Pillai shot to fame with this film thanks to his impressive performance.
Post ‘Second Show’, Sidhu Pillai acted in numerous short films and always has shown interest in mainstream Malayalam cinema.
