After many twists and turns in the Malayalam actress assault case, actor Dileep has now filed another bail plea in the High Court through his lawyers with new reasons mentioned in it to prove his innocence. The actor’s lawyers have mentioned that his ex-wife Manju Warrier could be one of the conspirers in the case and has also dragged Shrikumar Menon into the case. And according to latest reports, Dileep’s daughter, Meenakshi’s name has also been mentioned in the bail plea.
According to reports in the media, the new bail plea states that when Dileep and Manju Warrier got divorced in 2015, daughter Meenakshi opted to stay with her father Dileep instead of mother Manju Warrier, and that showed the kind of caring person Dileep is. Citing this reason, the lawyers have stated that Dileep, who is such a caring personality, cannot think of harming any women in such manner.
After being rejected a bail plea in High Court and the districts court, this new application for bail has mentioned a lot of new aspects. In the new bail plea submitted to the Kerala High Court, Dileep claimed that he did not know who Pulsar Suni, the prime accused, and he is framed in this case by a certain segment in the Malayalam film fraternity. There were reports doing rounds earlier that Manju Warrier might not be Dileep’s first wife and he might have been already married when he was getting married to the actress. However, there were no confirmed reports regarding this.
