Malayalam Actress Assault Case: Dileep submitted fake documents to prove that he was in hospital, claim cops

According to reports, actor Dileep—who is likely to be named that main accused in the Malayalam actress assault—may get into more trouble soon. As it so happens, the star had submitted some documents and claimed that he was in hospital when the incident took place in February. Now, the cops are saying that the documents are fake. If these allegations turn out to be true then Dileep’s alibi is going to fall flat.

In case you did not know, earlier this year, a popular Malayalam actress was abducted and assaulted while on her way to Kochi. This created a buzz in the industry and soon AMMA organised a protest meet, condemning the incident. At the event, Manju Warrier spoke about how there was a conspiracy behind the whole case and urged AMMA to take action. Dileep came under the scanner when the main accused Pulsar Suni tried reaching out to him from jail. He was arrested on July 10 much to the shock of his fans. Following this, he was expelled from AMMA and FEOUK in an unceremonious manner.

After numerous failed attempts, he was finally granted bail by the Kerala High Court on October 3.  After being granted bail, Dileep was requested to take over as FEOUK president again. However, he refused to entertain the request.  It goes without saying that latest claim by the cops could spell more trouble for the ‘Ramleela’ actor and make things worse for him. It will be worth watching what happens next.
