According to reports, the Kerala High Court has once again rejected actor Dileep’s bail plea in the infamous actress assault case which rocked M-town February. The High Court had previously rejected his bail plea on July 24 and stated that the investigation was pretty much on track. Following this, he had filed a new plea and said he was not kingpin of the conspiracy. Moreover, he had claimed that he did not know the main accused Pulsar Suni. Now, that his plea has been rejected, it seems that his problems won’t be ending anytime soon.
In case you did know, this February, a popular Malayalam actress was kidnapped and assaulted in a car while on her way to Kochi. Needless to say, this ruffled quite a few feathers and created a buzz in the industry. A few days later, AMMA organised a protest meet and condemned the incident. During the event, Manju Warrier stated that there was a conspiracy behind the attack and asked AMMA to ensure that justice prevailed.
Dileep’s troubles began when Pulsar Suni tried contacting him from prison .He was arrested on July 10 and has been in custody since. In the meanwhile, the cops have also grilled his wife Kavya Madhavan. To things worse, Pulsar Suni has claimed that she knows him ‘quite well’.
It goes without saying that this is a sensitive issue and it will be worth watching how things play out in the days to come.
