Actor Dileep is riding high on the success of his latest release Kammara Sambhavam which turned out to be a hit film. Directed by Rathish Ambat, the film was a period drama and has impressed the Malayalam audience. Dileep seems to be happy with the response the film has received since he has had a turbulent last one year. As we all know, Dileep was arrested in the Malayalam actress assault case and spent close to three months in jail before coming out on bail. And in the same case, Dileep was ordered by the court to not travel outside India till the final hearing of the case was done. However, the districts court has now granted permission to Dileep to travel outside India after the actor applied for a special permission to promote his film Kammara Sambhavan in Singapore and Dubai which has a lot of Malayalam speaking population. The court has granted Dileep permission from Aril 25th, 2018 till May 4th, 2018. Dileep was asked to surrender his passport after he was granted bail last year in the Malayalam actress assault case.
Dileep was arrested on July 10th, 2017 after the investigating officials of the Malayalam actress assault case found irrefutable case against the actor. The police officials questioned Dileep for more than 10 hours of July 8th, 2017 and proceeded with the arrest after finding evidences. Dileep was granted bail by the Kerala high Court after being denied for four times. Pulsar Suni, along with his associates, had stopped the victim’s car on the night of February 17th this year and the Malayalam actress was molested by the men, before being let off at her house in Kochi.
The incident came to light on the morning of February 18th after the victim approached the police and filed a complaint. The case has since then witnessed numerous twists and turns after the police started investigating from all possible angles. The prime accused, Pulsar Suni, was arrested by the police in the first week of March who is said to have spilled the beans about Dileep and Kavya Madhavan’s involvement in the case.
