Popular Malayalam filmmaker K. Madhu, known for directing the Sethurama Iyer CBI series, has announced a big budget film on two kings of Travancore between 1700 AD to 1800 AD. The film will be made in two parts and the first part of the film has been titled Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma- King of Travancore. The story of the first part will showcase the life of Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma who was one of the powerful kings in those days. Director K.Madhu has, however, not revealed any details about the cast of the film.
“This will be a project on a massive scale. Scriptwriter Robin Thirumala and I have been researching intensively for the last three years. We have finalised the script and signed the crew, that includes big names. We plan to go on the floors by next August,” a report in NIE quoted the director K.Madhu.
“We have prominent actors from Malayalam and other industry. While we have fixed a superstar for the first part, the leading actor for the second is yet to be ascertained. We will announce the names and the production banner soon. We plan to make it in five languages,” he further added. K.Madhu also said that they have roped in eminent sound designer Resul Pookuty, Baahubali music composer M.M.Keravani, R.Madhie as cinematographer and National-Award winning stunt director Peter Heins onboard for the prestigious project.
