Dileep’s manager Appunni surrendered before the police in connection with the Malayalam actress assault case after the police served him notice to appear before them for questioning. Reports suggest that Appunni arrived at 10 AM for the questioning and was at the SIT office for long hours. After grilling him, the police are now said to have gotten more evidences against actor Dileep in the Malayalam actress kidnap and assault case, according to reports.
Reports suggest that Appunni had arrived at the Aluva Club police after the High Court rejected his application of anticipatory bail. On Friday, the High Court rejected his bail application and asked Appunni to appear before the police for questioning in connection with the case after officials told the court that it was required to question him to solve the case.
Latest reports suggest that Appunni has admitted that Dileep knew Pulsar Suni for a very long time. Appunni has told that Dileep knew Suni since the days when he was working as a driver for actor-politician Mukesh, media reports reveal. Appunni has also told police that Suni called him several times after he was arrested and even had gone to meet Suni’s cell mate Vishnu once. The police remand report of Dileep states that Pulsar Suni had contacted Appunni several times and Dileep was present with Appunni at that moment.
In the meanwhile, the Angamaly court has extended the judicial custody of Pulsar Suni by another 14 days. Pulsar Suni was brought to the court by the police for the hearing when he was asked by the media contingent if everyone related to the case were arrested to which he replied that there is more to come.
