Nadhirshah feels that his late best friend would have believed his innocence.

Malayalam actor Nadhirshah, who has been accused in the Malayalam actress assault case, seems to be missing his late actor friend Kalabhavan Mani.

The actor-director feels that his late best friend would have believed his innocence and would have supported him.  The accused celeb took to his Facebook page to express his feelings. He posted on his official page, “I’m sure Mani would have supported me, had he been alive.”

With an intention to seek sympathy from people, Nadhirshah expressed his opinion on the social media, however, he got only the disappointment, as the social media users got mad at him and felt the Amar Akbar Anthony director’s futile attempt to invoke Mani sentiment to save his face.

Nadhirshah elaborates that he even dialled Mani’s number as he was so desperate to tell someone that he was innocent. “Mani would have been in the forefront to prove my innocence.”

The new revelation in the case suggests that Suni, the main accused in the case, had contacted Dileep’s close aide through various mobile numbers several times between November last year and February 2017. The female actor in question was held hostage and molested inside her car by Suni and his team on February 17 this year. Police are probing the four mobile numbers that were contacted by Suni before the crime took place.

According to a Mathrubhumi report, Jinson, co-prisoner of Suni, told a court, “Suni called Nadhirshah and Appunni continuously for three days. I also heard Suni saying over the phone that he handed over some item at ‘Lakshya.’ Suni had said that he had many other deals with Dileep and Nadhirshah.”
