Nivin Pauly and Jomon T John to make a film on the missing ship Kairali

Malayalam sensation Nivin Pauly and director Jomon T John will now team up and make a film on a missing ship from Kerala names Kairali. The film also has been titled Kairali which had disappeared in 1979 off the Indian coast. Nivin Pauly made the announcement on his social networking page about the film which will be the directorial debut for Jomon T John.

An excited Nivin wrote on his Facebook page which read – “So here comes the big news! Announcing my new project with my dearest Jomon T John who will make his directorial debut in this film titled Kairali. The movie is based on Kerala’s first ship MV Kairali, which disappeared in 1979 just off the coast of India with a crew of 49 members. I am totally excited to part of this ever since I heard the story.”

The movie will be scripted by my dear friend Sidhartha Siva and it will be jointly produced by Pauly Jr Pictures and Real Life Works. Kairali Movie Official will go on floors in December. #Kairali,” Nivin added further.

Nivin Pauly will also collaborate with Nayanthara for another film which will be a kind of comeback for Nayanthara in Malayalam cinema. To be directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, the film will be on the lines of Dhyan’s father Sreenivasan’s 1989 super hit film Vadakku Nokki Yanthram. Nivin Pauly posted a message on his Facebook page about the film and confirmed the same. This film will be the first time pairing up for Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara.
