Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has hit the headlines once again over the decision to revoke Dileep’s suspension. Over more than 105 members from the film industry have filed a petition against Mohanlal to the Kerala government for not allowing him to be a part as the Chief Guest to the annual state film awards to be held in Thiruvananthapuram in August.

As we all know AMMA’s decision of reinstating actor Dileep has hit the controversy. Dileep’s former wife Manju Warrier, Parvathy, Remya Nambisan and Rima Kallingal of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) raised their voice against the decision of AMMA. As earlier we reported, four actresses Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Geethu Mohandas and the victim of the sexual assault quit AMMA following the decision of reinstating actor Dileep.

Meanwhile, a couple of weeks ago during a press meet, Mohanlal defended the decision to take back Dileep by resorting to citing the rulebook. He said, “We had decided suddenly that Dileep had to be ousted as FEFKA and Producers’ Council had taken action against him. Later, this (taking him back) had to be presented at the General Body meeting. When it was presented, no one opposed. No woman, no opposing group said anything against taking Dileep back.”

On a related note, Kerala government on Monday informed the high court that how actor Dileep is trying to delay the trial proceedings. According to media reports, the affidavit filed by the state government states that a special court will be set up to conduct the trial and has also backed victim’s demand of bringing the female judge in the case.

Let the truth spread, Prakash Raj himself claimed that he haven’t signed any petition. This is more of like mob attack against Lal and people are getting along with the false biased news that they read.
