Mohanlal’s son Pranav Mohanlal makes his debut with ‘Aadhi’ which has now hit the screens in India and has received an overwhelming response from fans of lalettan and Malayalam movie-buffs. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, ‘Aadhi’ has Pranav Mohanlal playing a college going young man who aspires to become a musician. Pranav is being hugely appreciated for the action sequences in the film and the parkour stunts he has performed all by himself. Besides the stunts, Pranav is also being lauded for his acting skills and Malayalam movie audiences have welcomed the star kid in style. ‘Aadhi’ had a great opening on the first day of release at the box office and the collections look great in the Kerala states. Collections at all the centers put together, the number stands at approximately INR 3.9 crores in Kerala alone and the rest of India numbers are yet to be confirmed by the makers. ‘Aadhi’ is yet to hit the screens worldwide and is slated to be released on February 9th, 2018 worldwide.
Director Jeethu Joseph, a while ago, had said that ‘Aadi’ will not be a run-of-the-mill action film and will be different from what is seen in a Tamil or a Bollywood film. “Aadi isn’t the typical action film you get to see in Tamil or Hindi. The audience may get disappointed if they expect a movie on similar lines. It is a realistic film with only a few action sequences. We have used Parkour for the scenes. We had initially roped in a dupe to perform the scenes from France but Pranav said he would like to try it himself. Pranav pulled it off well. Everybody on the sets appreciated his guts and determination,” Jeethu had said.
Pranav is being appreciated for his efforts to perform all the stunts by himself and audiences are praising the makers for designing the parkour stunts in such engaging fashion.
