Bollywood super hit film Queen is being remake in South in all the film industries but will feature different actresses in each remake and will be directed by different filmmakers. The Kannada remake of Queen will feature Parul Yadav in the lead role which was played by Kangana Ranaut while the Tamil version will have Kajal Aggarwal essaying the role. And a day ago, it was reported that Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia will reprise Kanagana’s role in the Telugu remake of Queen.
And according to latest reports, Queen will also be remade in Malayalam and will feature Manjima Mohan in the lead role. “The makers have decided to cast a different actress in every South language the film is being remade in. While Tamannaah was roped in for Telugu, Manjima is on board for Malayalam. Kajal is part of the Tamil remake,” a report in DC quoted a source. The makers are, however, yet to confirm these developments.
While the Kannada remake of Queen is being directed by popular actor-director Ramesh Arvind, the Telugu version will be directed by Neelakanta. The makers are yet to reveal regarding who would be directing the Tamil remake of Queen which will feature Kajal Aggarwal. With Manjima Mohan being said to be confirmed as the lead actress for the Malayalam remake for Queen, the buzz around the remake of Queen in South Indian cinema will only go higher from now. It is also being reported that the Malayalam remake too will be helmed by Neelakanta who will also direct the Telugu remake of Queen.
