Popular violinist Balabhaskar met with a shocking car accident in Thiruvananthapuram, last month. Balabhaskar, wife Lakshmi and driver Arjun were immediately admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately, the couple lost their two-year-old daughter in the car accident. Now, in the depressing news, Kerala musician and violinist Balabhaskar died in the early hours of Tuesday. A week after his daughter passed away, Balabhaskar died at 12.55 am, according to a report in Hindustan Times. According to reports, doctors tried their best to ensure his recovery is healed but it could not happen.
The unfortunate news has left thousands of fans in shock. According to reports, Balashanker’s body will be kept for the public to pay their last respects at a Thiruvananthapuram college. Mangalapuram police had earlier told The News Minute, “We assume that the driver dozed off, which caused the accident. The family was returning from Thrissur after visiting a temple.”
The car rammed into a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving Balabhaskar and his wife severely injured. The couple was returning from Thrissur after visiting a temple. Balabhaskar shot to fame when he was 17 year old and has worked with Dr. K. J. Yesudas, Hairharan, Suresh Wadkar, K. S. Chitra, Sujatha, Sreenivas, Karthik and some other legendary singers.
