Tovino’s Theevandi will have a surprise for Mammootty fans

Here’s a great news for Mammootty fans! The first teaser of Mammootty’s Kunjali Marakkar IV, which is being directed by Santosh Sivan, will be out soon. Yes, the first teaser of the film will be released with Tovino’s Theevandi. Reportedly, the teaser will be screened with Tovino’s Theevandi.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal-Priyadarshan film on Kunjali Marakkar is also happening. On his 30th wedding anniversary, Mohanlal announced about his next project, which is titled Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. The film will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Santosh T Kuruvilla, and CJ Roy.

While Santosh had expressed that he wanted to make the movie with Mammootty in the lead, Priyadarshan expressed his interest to cast Mohanlal in his film. Well, this made everyone wonder if things will fall in the right place for both of them. However, both films are now very much on the cards. Mammootty’s Kunjali Marakkar is being penned by writers TP Rajeevan and Shankar Ramakrishnan.

On the work front, Mammootty will be seen in a biopic on Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy. To be directed by Mahi Raghava, the biopic on Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy has been titled Yatra. The makers recently released the first poster of the film featuring Mammootty. There were reports that actress Nayanthara will play the female lead role in the film. However, no official confirmation regarding the cast has been made yet.

Mammootty was last seen in ‘Uncle’ directed by Gireesh Damodar. The film released last month and received mixed reviews from the audience. The plot of the film revolved around the struggles faced by the girls who study outside Kerala. Uncle, directed by debutant Girish Damodar, was jointly produced by actor Joy Mathew and Sajay Sebastian.
