During a recent interaction with Kochi Times, actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan revealed that his biggest wish is to direct his father and noted actor Sreenivasan in a full-fledged powerful role. He went on to add that even though he has had several discussions with writers about the same, nothing concrete has materialised yet.
“One of my biggest wishes though is to direct my father in a full-length role. I have directed him in Malarvaadi Arts Club and Thattathin Marayathu but I want to direct him in a central role in a film that you don’t expect from him. I have had discussions with writers for such a film but nothing has materialised yet,” he added.
Well this is a sweet wish indeed and we hope that it gets fulfilled ASAP.
In case you did not know, Sreenivasan is a veteran actor-filmmaker who has been part of the industry for over three decades . Some of his most noted films include ‘Passenger’, ‘Thakarachenda ‘ and ‘Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala’.
It goes without saying that if he works with his son, the results could be quite terrific indeed!
On a related note, this is a rather busy time for Vineeth. He will soon be seen in ‘Oru Cinemakaran’. In it, he will be seen essaying the role of a young man who is struggling to find success as director. Opening up about the film. “The core of the film is not related to movies; but it touches upon his career to reach the main story,” he added.
