Tamil star Vishal recently added a new dimension to his career when his maiden Malayalam film ‘Villain’ opened to a good response at the box office and got the thumbs up from fans. During a recent chat with a leading daily, the popular actor opened up about the film’s success and said that he was always sure that ‘Villain’ would do well at the box office. He went on to add that the film had a ‘winning script’.
“When the story was narrated by Unnikrishnan, I knew it had a winning script. Now it has been proved with its success,” added Vishal.
Besides this, he also said that he is open to acting in more Malayalam films if the script is good enough.
“If the script fascinates me, why not?,” he added.
Well, we are happy for Vishal and hope that his upcoming films too do well at the ticket window. In case you did not know, ‘Villain’ was a crime-thriller and saw Vishal act alongside Malayalam stars Mohanlal and Manju Warrier. Essaying a negative role, he delivered a rocking performance and impressed movie buffs. Prior to the film’s release, Vishal had said that he felt happy about working opposite ‘Lalettan’.
“Face to face with him, the intense dialogues and the off-screen experience, it was all surreal for me. He is an actor who emotes through his eyes, and very accommodating too. I have seen very few superstars who give so much scope for co-artists to perform and outscore,” he had added.
So, did you like Vishal’s performance in ‘Villain’? Comments, please!
