Directed by Shyamaprasad, ‘Hey Jude’ will be the third-time association of Nivin Pauly with the director after English and Ivide. Nivin Pauly recently spoke about Trisha and shared his experience of working the experienced actress. “It’s been a great experience. She’s friendly, down-to-earth and comfortable to work with. In terms of acting experience, Trisha’s the senior. She made her debut in 2002 and I came into films almost a decade later. I have watched a lot of her films and have been a big fan since Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya. Now, I am fortunate enough to act with her. It’s destiny that I am able to share screen space with such big actors,” Nivin Pauly had told in an interview. Nivin was also all praise for director Shyamaprasad and said, “He is extremely chilled out on the sets and makes the actors feel comfortable. Anyone who has worked with him would unanimously say this.” Nivin Pauly also has another film lined up, Kayamkulam Kochunni, which is directed by Roshan Andrrews. Kayamkulam Kochunni also features Priya Anand in the lead role who will appear in a Malayalam film second time after Ezra.
On the other hand, Trisha Krishnan has quite a few films up her sleeve and is shooting for them simultaneously. Trisha was also part of Saamy 2, sequel to the 2004 release Saamy starring Chiyaan Vikram, but the actress opted out of the film due to creative issues with the makers, according to reports.
Trisha recently completed 15 years in South Indian cinema and just few days before she crossed the milestone, Trisha was given the Celebrity Advocate status by UNICEF to create awareness about child protection rights. Speaking about it, Trisha had said, “I feel honoured with this recognition. I commit myself to create more awareness on health, education, nutrition and protection of children, especially the adolescents and young people in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. I would support the efforts of the government to make Tamil Nadu malnutrition-free and open defecation free.”
