Malayalam actor Dileep, who was last seen in Siddharth period drama Kammara Sambhavam, recently visited Mumbai along with his wife Kavya Madhavan. The two visited singer Manjari at her residence in Mumbai. Manjari took to Instagram to share a selfie of her with Dileep and his wife. She captioned the image as, "It was awesome catching up with my dearies after a long time. I’m glad you guys visited Mumbai!! Come back sooon😊#teagupshup #happiness #instadaily #instagood #keepsmiling #godbless #happytimes #us."\r\n\r\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BkzhkCQnlqV\/?utm_source=ig_embed\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, Dileep is currently in the news after the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) decided to reinstate him. This decision by the association took the industry by storm and received flak from several quarters. As earlier we reported, four actresses Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Geethu Mohandas and the victim of the sexual assault quit AMMA over the same. Actor and director Revathy of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) recently asked for an emergency meeting for AMMA.\r\n\r\nRecently, veteran actress Revathy lashed out at the young stars of the association for not speaking up on the issues. In an interview with The News Minute, “It’s the conditioning that it’s better not to speak out. That they have to keep silent about it. Don’t support the change. But when the change happens, people kind of automatically join in. They feel it’s better to be silent and sit on the fence, don’t contradict anything, don’t be part of the first struggle of anything. They want to sit back and watch.”\r\n\r\nThe actress also revealed about the serious conversation that is in planning at the meeting with AMMA. “I’m hopeful that they will be receptive. That is how change happens. Very long back, Mahatma Gandhi said when there’s a change, there will be denial, resistance, fights… after that, we understand it. We will wait for that understanding,” she says.
