It is no secret that a lot has happened in the world of Southern cinema this past week. And, not surprisingly, most of these things have created a buzz amongst fans. On one hands, a leading superstar was forced to request some so-called fans to respect the dignity of a female journalist. On the other hand, a veteran actor-filmmaker added fuel to speculation of him entering politics in the near future.

Kamal Haasan: The veteran Tamil star attended an event organized by the DMK and spoke about the greatness of Dravidian culture. As expected, this added fuel to rumours of him potentially entering politics in the near future.

Dileep: According to a leading daily, Dileep—who is in custody in connection with the actress assault case—has not been keeping well and is feeling stressed out.
