Predicting about Shankar’s directorial 2.0, Girish Johar said, “2.0 is highly anticipated release of the year, which is one of the most expensive films to the budget of Rs 600 crores and a lot of money has gone for releasing and making of this film. Expectations are humongous and it is going to be the widest release ever globally. Down South, it is going to be huge in terms of Box Office numbers. Advance booking is tremendous and in the Hindi language it is quite average at the moment but we all know it is Rajinikanth film with Akshay Kumar as the villain. Yes, tomorrow when the film releases and then over the weekend it will definitely catch up. It terms of opening, tomorrow being Thursday, a non-holiday release, I guess it will be highest non-holiday release of the year for Akshay Kumar film. Definitely, a highest non-holiday start for Akshay Kumar film is on cards.”
