2.0 movie leaked: Sound designer Resul Pookutty urges Rajinikanth fan clubs to teach the culprits a lesson

One of the biggest films of the year, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles has released at the box office today. Made on the budget of around Rs 600 crores, 2.0 is receiving some fantastic response from the audience on social media. The advance booking of the sci-fi film has already set a record in itself and much to the shock of fans, the 2D version of the film has already been leaked online. Just a few hours after its release, TamilRockers, an active piracy website, has leaked the entire movie in HD print.

Soon after the news broke out, Oscar-winning sound designer, Resul Pookutty took to social media and requested Rajinikanth fans to teach a lesson to the culprits. He tweeted, “Despite court order if these people have the guts to do this @rajinifans @rajini_fanclub you need to teach them a lesson.” As earlier we reported, the makers of the film have made sure that no piracy is involved with the release of their big budget film 2.0. The high court ordered 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block over 12,000 websites to prevent piracy of Tamil films, but unfortunately, the film has fallen prey to piracy.

2.0 has been released in about 10,500 screens across the world and is going to witness earth-shattering success. In the film, Rajinikanth plays a scientist and a robot. 2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robot) which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. 2.0 marks Akshay Kumar’s Tamil debut and it also stars Amy Jackson.
