Kamal Haasan to enter active politics on January 26?

According to a noted trade analyst, veteran actor-director Kamal Haasan is all set to enter active politics from January 26 and begin a new chapter in life. Apparently, on Republic day, the National award winner will be beginning a political tour of Tamil Nadu in order to understand the mood prevalent in the state. If things go as planned, the specifics of this tour will be announced on January 18. Well, this is some exciting info and is bound to create a buzz in the political circles.

In case you did not know, some time ago, Haasan had confirmed that he will form his own political party and gave his fans a reason to rejoice. Explaining his decision, he had said that his ideology does not match that of any existing political party.

“I just have to be photographed with any politician and I am supposed to be joining his party. The other day, I met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and I was supposed to have developed a penchant for communism. But, becoming a part of any political party is not a simple process of hopping, skipping and jumping in. A political party is about an ideology. And I don’t think my goals in politics can match the ideology of any party,” he had added.

On the work front, Haasan currently has ‘Sabash Naidu’ and ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ in his kitty. ‘Sabash Naidu’ is touted to be a spy-comedy and also features Shruti Haasan in the lead. On the other hand, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’; is touted to be a spy-thriller and has been directed by Haasan himself. A sequel to the 2013 release ‘Vishwaroopam’, it also has Andrea Jeremiah in the lead. The much-delayed film is expected to hit screens this year.
