According to the latest reports, ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayanthara will soon be teaming up with young actor-music composer GV Prakash for a movie. Talks are currently in progress and an announcement regarding this can be expected in the near future. If all goes as per plan, the film will go on floors once the ongoing strike is called off. If this indeed happens, it will create quite a buzz amongst fans, Both stars have established themselves as strong performers and seeing them together will be a treat for the audience.

Interestingly, GVP was last seen in Naachiyaar and received praise for his work . A Bala directorial, it saw him act opposite Jyothika and deliver a commendable performance. While talking about the film, he had said that it helped him grow as an actor. At present, he has 100 Percent Kadhal in his kitty. It is a remake of 100 Percent Love and will see him essay the role played by Naga Chaitanya in the lead. It also has Arjun Reddy star Shalini Pandey in the lead.

As far as Nayan is concerned, she was last seen in the action-drama Jai Simha. The film was directed by KS Ravikumar and also had Balakrishna in the lead. Released on Sankranthi, it did decent business at the box office despite mixed reviews. At present, she has Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Imaikkaa Nodigal in her kitty. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is touted to be a period drama and will see her act opposite megastar Chiranjeevi. A highly ambitious attempt at storytelling, it also has Vijay Sethupathi and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. A Surender Reddy directorial, it will hit screens in 2019.

As far as Imaikkaa Nodigal is concerned, it is a thriller and has been directed by Ajay Gananamuthu.In it, she will be seen alongside Atharvaa and Raashi Khanna.
