65th National Film Awards: You can't miss Aditi Rao Hydari's reaction after Kaatru Veliyidai wins two awards

The 65th National Film Awards was announced today by the jury head and ace filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. Vinod Khanna was given the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema while late actress Sridevi won the Best Actress award for her performance in MOM. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion won awards for the Best Action Director and for Special effects.

A.R. Rahman also won two awards for the films MOM and Kaatru Veliyidai. Kaatru Veliyidai, written and directed by Mani Ratnam, starred Aditi Rao Hydari and Karthi in the lead role. And well, the makers of the film are quite happy about the same. Aditi Rao Hydari is quite happy about the big win and she immediately took to Twitter to congratulate AR Rahman and team.

Aditi Rao Hydari took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy news comes in..Many many many many congratulations @arrahman Sir, you’re a genius… @sashasublime big hug for this much deserving accolade. #Vaan will always be my favourite! Best news I’ve heard all day for my special #KaatruVeliyidai #NationalFilmAwards.”
