After being named in the involvement in an actresses abduction case, the Kerala police arrested one of Malayalam cinema’s top league actor Dileep early this year. His arrest had put the Kerala film industry to incur a loss, as Dileep who was a part of many big-ticket projects wasn’t permitted to shoot for his film. Now, after spending 88 days in jail, the actor is finally out on a conditional bail and has decided to complete the shoot of his films. Dileep is currently working on director Rathish Ambat’s ‘Kammarasambhavam’. Soon after finishing the shoot of the film in Chennai, Dileep then flew to Dubai to inaugurate his restaurant in Dubai.
The film also stars Tamil actor Siddharth in a pivotal role. Debutant director Rathish Ambat went on to thank Siddharth after he completed shooting for his portion in the film. In his Facebook post, he said “Team Kammarasambhavam wishes hearty thanks to actor Siddharth who completed his portions in our film today. Our heart-felt gratitude for all your efforts and wish you all the very best.” He also shared a picture from the sets of the film.
The final leg of the shoot will take place in Theni, Kochi, and Malayatoor. The film is being made on a budget of Rs 20 crore and touted to be one of the biggest films in Dileep’s career. Set in the pre-independent era, the film has been written by noted writer Murali Gopy. The film also stars Namitha Pramod, Bobby Simha, Murali Gopy and Swetha Menon in important roles.
Dileep’s last release ‘Ramaleela’ turned out to win big bucks at the box office. Dileep’s upcoming films include ‘Professor Dinkan’, ‘Saddam Sivan’ and ‘Njarana Mon’in the pipeline.
