Actor Prithvi Pandiarajan will next be seen working with Malayalam top star Mammootty in the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual ‘Street Lights’. Directed by Shamduth Sainudeen, ‘Street Lights’ is said to be an investigative thriller and will have quite a few heavy-duty action episodes. The film is being made in Tamil and Malayalam, simultaneously, and actor Prithvi Rajan seems quite kicked about his role in the film and sharing screen space with Mammootty. Speaking to a leading daily, Prithvi spoke about what his character would be about and how it was working with the Malayalam superstar.
“While Mammootty sir plays the investigating officer, my character will get connected in one of his probing segments. Malayalam actress Lijomol is paired opposite me. Ours is a cute romantic portion which is mostly hilarious. The challenge involved was that the first shot would be filmed in Tamil, followed by Malayalam,” Prithvi Rajan told DC.
Speaking about the film, Prithvi said, “It is an investigative thriller directed by Shamdath who cranked the camera for Kamal Haasan starrer Vishwaroopam and Uthama Villain. And there’s a cast change with respect to each language. I am part of the Tamil version. My dad Pandiarajan will also be seen in a crucial role.”
Prithvi seemed quite excited about working with Mammootty and speaking about his experience of working with him, the actor says, “I had few scenes along with sir, and I was floored by his charisma! Mammootty sir is also the producer of the movie. The team was very professional and comfort levels were very good.”
