Superstar Rajinikanth is currently meeting his fans in Chennai at the Raghavendra Mandapam much to the joy of his fans. From getting pictures clicked with his fans to talking about his political aspirations, Rajinikanth has been doing it all. Speaking at the meeting on the first day, Rajinikanth had said that he will make an important announcement on December 31st, 2017 about his political career. Fans of the superstar are now eagerly waiting for the day to learn about the announcement. Rajinikanth, speaking yesterday, said that one should never fall on the feet of the powerful, wealthy and famous people. “One need not fall at the feet of people in power, name, fame, or those who have huge wealth. You should fall only at the feet of God, parents and elderly people,” Rajinikanth said on the third day of his fans meeting.

Fans of the superstar thronged the venue from places across Tamil Nadu including places like Madurai and Virudachalam. “The city is known for its valour. In 1976, when I visited Madurai Meenakshi Temple, the priest asked for my nakshathram to offer prayers to the deity. I did not know my birthdate, nakshathram or gothram and no one told me also. Actress Sachu was there and she told the priest that my nakshathram was that of Perumal’s and asked to offer prayers in the name of the deity itself,” Rajinikanth had said.

‘Thalaivar’ had visitors from the neighbouring Karnataka state who were elated to meet the superstar. “I was a fan of the actor like all of you when I was 17 or 18. He was a combination of Sivaji Ganesan sir and MGR sir. I can understand your emotions and feelings completely,” Rajinikanth said after meeting them. Rajinikanth will continue to meet his fans till December 31st, 2017 and will make an important announcement on the last day of the meeting.

In May, while addressing a large gathering of his fans, Rajinikanth said he will choose the path of politics if “God willing”. “God decides what we have to do in life at every phase. Right now, he wants me to be an actor and I’m fulfilling my responsibility. If God willing, I will enter politics tomorrow. “If I enter, I will be very truthful and will not entertain people who are in this to make money. I won’t work with such people,” he had said.
